In summer 2010 I had the opportunity to join Brian Green`s Nautical Chart Update training course in Oslo.

As it`s a demanding matter I was quite excited how it will go - in addition to the complicated issues and lessons to be learned  - the fact that we will communicate only in English would also play a certain role.

But I really didn`t have to worry.

First of all - Brian knows exactly how it is to be the "student" in his course. His knowledges are excellent and he follows your development in a very pleasant way.
The course is interesting and shows you how it`s all connected - how your role is important for many others, in fact - all around the world... Brian`s long nautical career makes him an outstanding partner - both to listen to and to learn from.

We followed one matter after another - and it was all interesting. It`s built up in a logical way which makes it easy to remember. During the learning everybody has a feeling that they are closely followed and feedback is never far away.

I recommend Brian`s course to everybody who`s interested in nautical charts: both if this is your work or it`s a serious hobby you share with group of friends.
Brian Greens courses have high professional value - with the touch of historical nautical history from the great Great Britain.
