Welcome to Chart Check

Chart Check Limited offers two unique services to the mariner:

1. A visiting nautical chart safety check
2. A visiting nautical chart update training service

These services will help to improve Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) and enable mariners to be more prepared to conform to the International Safety Management code (ISM).

The company is made up of former United Kingdom Hydrographic Office staff who are highly skilled in the two services being offered covering paper and electronic charts.

Following on from a successful talk at Poole Yacht Club, Chart Check Ltd will be pleased to offer a short introductory seminar at Yacht Clubs in the UK. It would cover aspects of:

·          How to understand your charts.

·          How to identify if they need updating and how to update them properly.

·         The importance of using the latest editions

·         What to do if you have a lot of charts and you don’t know what to do with them.

Please contact Chart Check Ltd to arrange a date. Evenings or day time will be considered. The cost of the seminar will be free but a small fee will be charged to cover expenses.
